An Update About Subscriptions, and Some Fun Adrian Chiles Headlines as a Reward.

hi everyone!
the switch over from Substack couldn't have come soon enough, as the blogging website recently sent a push alert to users promoting a Nazi blog. yikes, one might say! so, yeah, i'm thrilled we're over here now!
that said, unfortunately the paid subscriber import did not go over as planned.
so!
if you were a paid subscriber, you will need to re-subscribe (there's a button a few paragraphs down to do so). if you've now decided you don't want to re-subscribe, I respect your decision!
now then!
I ran an informal poll over on Instagram gauging how much people would pay for subscriptions, specifically for paid subscriber-only access to theater/film reviews. the results were illuminating; about 50% of votes were for "$5/month subscriptions" (such sweethearts!) with the other 50% pretty evenly split between "$3/month," "$1/month," and "Free, please!"
with that in mind, I have now created $1/$3/$5 tiers for subscription, with all future reviews being placed behind the paywall for those tiers. each tier also has a 7-day free trial period, so if you just want to "subscribe" and then quit your subscription after reading a review....hey, I can't stop you!
even paying $1/month (or $10/year!) is a drop in the bucket of adding value to the words I'm writing here, so that would mean a whole lot to me. and if you just want to stay a free subscriber for non-review content, I love that too.
now, as a treat...
